Toto is a London born writer and actor.
As a screenwriter Toto's work focuses on modern comedies and dramas that are quick-witted, dark, and full of heart.
Toto has had three short films produced in the last three years through competitions and funds. Their first short ‘PELICANS’ was directed by Ellie Heydon (Sky’s ‘Dreamland’) and starred Edward Bluemel. Their second short ‘NOT A MOURNING PERSON’, was directed by Charlotte Hamblin, exec-produced by Ella Purnell (Fallout), and starred Tara Fitzgerald. Their most recent film, one-take LGBTQ+ drama ‘TWOFOLD’ was directed by Ella Greenwood and is currently in the festival circuit.
Last year they were one of the ten selected screenwriters for the Edinburgh TV Festival & All3Media's New Writers Collective 2023, and are currently working on projects for the small and big screen.
As an actor, Toto is mostly notably known for playing series regular ‘Lucy Tozer’ in Russell T Davies critically acclaimed series ‘IT’S A SIN’, and can also recently been seen in ‘THE GREAT’, and Nathaniel Martello-White’s directorial debut ‘THE STRAYS’.
