Toto is a writer and actor from South London. 
As a screenwriter Toto's work focuses on original character-driven comedies and dramas, specialising in stories that are quick-witted, dark, and full of heart. 
Toto has had three short films produced in the last three years, two of which were open-callout script/funding competition winners. Their first short  ‘PELICANS’ was directed by Ellie Heydon (dir of Sky’s recent ‘Dreamland’) and starred Edward Bluemel. Currently in the festival circuit are: ‘NOT A MOURNING PERSON’, directed by Charlotte Hamblin (recent winner of Best British Director at the British Short Film awards for her previous short) starring Tara Fitzgerald, and one-take LGBTQ+ drama ‘TWOFOLD’ winner of the 'Lucas A. Ferrara Film Fund' and directed by ‘Forbes 30 Under 30’ Ella Greenwood. Toto has received several nominations for 'Best Writer' for their shorts across BIFA Qualifying Festivals.
They are one of the ten selected screenwriters for the Edinburgh TV Festival & All3 Media's 'New Writers Collective 2023', and are currently working on several comedy-drama pilots for television.
As an actor, Toto is mostly notably known for playing series regular ‘Lucy Tozer’ in Russell T Davies critically acclaimed series ‘IT’S A SIN’, and can also recently been seen in ‘THE GREAT’, and Nathaniel Martello-White’s directorial debut ‘THE STRAYS’.
